Random Thoughts: So the guy at Laptop Lane actually called back but I missed him...he said he'd call today. Good. Wendy wants me to look at more sites that sell shit to see if maybe we're doing something wrong, but who the hell knows. Everyone has a different way of doing it...Need to think about how to set up an affiliate program with sites...Is that too much accounting to do it on our own? Is it worth it? Need to ask Bob how many we can set up, or is it unlimited? Guess it would be just to make an order page that gives them the discount and tracks the sales. Pay out quarterly? Nothing more than running a spreadsheet and cutting a check? Something that could take a couple of hours four times a year. Might be worth it...Also, need to really think and work on the tell a friend special offer to put in the books, put in something about Christmas presents...and..another thing, perhaps we can get some demographics by offering our buyers a 50% discount on their next Nerdy Book if they fill out an online survey...demographics, where they found us (idea comes from this article)
